BUILDING CONFIDENCE THROUGH PLAY: BEE NETBALL FOR YEARS 1-4
Gilly Salter Bee Netball sessions are designed especially for children in Years 1–4. Bee Netball introduces girls and boys to the game through fun, engaging activities while teaching the core values and ethos of netball — teamwork, respect, and friendship — all in a safe and inclusive environment.
Sessions held in Cheltenham are led by Lisa Birks, an England Bee Netball Coach and Level 2 Coach. Sessions held in Barnwood, Gloucester are led by Gilly Salter, an England Bee Netball Coach, Level 3 Performance Coach and England selector.
Wherever your young netballers take part – Cheltenham or Gloucester – they’ll benefit from the highest quality coaching and support to help them grow in confidence and skills.

Our Bee Netball sessions are open to children in Years 1–4, though the year groups in our sessions available may vary. Below you’ll find the current sessions open for booking. Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to secure your child’s place early. Proposed Y1–Y2 Mini Bee Netball Programme – Barnwood Park 🐝
After our taster sessions, we’re excited to share the proposed dates for a full 21-week Mini Bee Netball programme for children in Years 1–2. These sessions will run around school term times and closures, giving players a regular and enjoyable way to develop their skills and confidence.
